You : You probably have polycystic ovaries. Menstrual abnormalities, increased facial hair, and Insulin resistance are usually present. A pelvic ultrasound may make the diagnosis but laparascopic visualization of the ovaries may be needed. Sometimes a wedge is cut out of the ovary to improve fertility. Early pregnancy is recommended.
