Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your mother's condition. But let's look at her symptoms. Your mother has been vomiting with constant upper abdominal pain and her upper abdomen is swollen. Her skin is clammy. She has been getting chills and she feels very weak. Although much of this sounds like some of the viruses that are going around, her abdominal pain is of concern. If she has been unable to hold anything down she may be dehydrated. I recommend that your mother get treated at the emergency room. One reason is that she may need IV fluids. The second is that she needs to have her abdomen evaluated to ensure that she does not have a dangerous infection (i.e., like the gall bladder) or other serious condition. You are a loving daughter to write in to get help for your mom. Take care.

I : I am concerned that you are seeking help on the internet for what is clearly a medical emergency needing hands on care immediately. Internet sites can be a great help in learning about medical conditions or increasing your general knowledge, but should not take the place of hands on care, especially in an emergency.
