The : The only way for her to know if she has any residual damage from the trauma is to have a complete evaluation by an ob/gyn. The doctor can perform or order an ultrasound to visualize the uterus and other internal female organs. As far as your question is concerned, the uterus would heal itself, however there may be scar tissue which cold pose a problem. Like i stated the only was to know is to have a consultation/evaluation by a qualified doctor. I hope everything works out for her.
