Depends on cause: Often women are told that their uterus is large or bulky on exam- it could be a sign of fibroids or adenomyosis. I would recommend seeing a fertility specialist for an ultrasound to check the uterus and find the cause of your enlarged uterus. Since you are 46 years of age-- the fertility specialist can evaluate your eggs too!
