You : You need to be seen by a gynecologist. While spotting can occur during a completely normal pregnancy (from when the placenta imbeds into the uterus), you need to be checked to be sure you don't have a tubal pregnancy or problem with this pregnancy. Please call your gynecologist. If you had heavier bleeding, pain, or felt light-headed, then you would have to be seen immediately.

Agree with Dr. E.: If you had sex since your last period, you may be pregnant. You may wish to repeat the pregnancy test. An alternative explanation for the abnormal bleeding may be due to your entering menopause. It would be prudent to consult your gynecologist.
