A member asked:

What does the abbreviation pal on blood tests? on the page with lh, e2, fsh, rth. and pal. my pal values were high.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PAL: The test evaluates the ability of lymphocytes to agglutinate with Poly-l- Lysine. It is supposedly a screening test for cancer. As with any lab test, the results need to be viewed in the clinical context and the doctor ordering the test is in a better position to address the issue.
