Warts : Warts are also called verruca. Warts are caused by viruses that get into the skin. There are many kinds of warts with differing appearances. In the beginning a wart can be a skin colored tiny lump. When you see a wart on the foot, it can look like a callous. There is one type of wart that looks like a cauliflower. Although warts are bumps, they tend to have a flattened surface on the top. Warts are contagious. Skin tags are called acrochordons. They develop in places where there is friction like the underarm, the groin and the neck. They are small skin growths. Sometimes they look like a little tag of skin, hanging off (hence the name). They are not contagious or dangerous.
