Please : Please reply back with the medications you are taking. To answer your question, the hiccups have nothing to do with the fact that you have kidney stones, however the actual hiccup itself can definitely exacerbate your kidney pain. Simple techniques to dimish hiccups are drinking plenty of fluids, take a deep breath before speaking, drink a carbonated beverage etc. If the problem persists please see your doctor.

Not stones: Kidney stones do not cause hiccups.The hiccups are not from the stones. Tr breathing repeatedly into a paper bag for a limited period .Try holding your breath & counting to 10.Cause could be eating too much food quickly(?) or swallowing too much air or emotional stress & excitement. Hope you feel better soon.
