If : If you cycles are normally ovulatory and your menses are predictable every month it is unlikely that will happen. However if your cycles are irregular then you really do not know when you ovulate and are always at risk. For regularly cycling patients menses usually come around 14 days after ovulation and sperm live in the genital tract for 72 hrs. Hope this helps.
