My friend takes 20mg of prescribed adderall a day for his diagnosed adhd. is it ok for him to smoke weed while on this? could there be a bad interaction between the two drugs? also the weed is medical, prescribed for migraines.

Mixing drugs: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is an upper and marijuana is a downer. Your friend is probably trying to treat the side effects of the adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). He would be better off if he gradually stopped both drugs and found an alternative to drugs.
