It is addictive to the mom and the baby so you can't use for a long time.

Yes: If morphine is indicated for pain relief, for example after a surgery or procedure, it is safe to take during pregnancy/breastfeeding. In most cases, tylenol (acetaminophen) is the pain reliever of choice. After you deliver/during breastfeeding, it is also ok to take Ibuprofen or other nsaids (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
