I : I think that would be a good idea. At the very least, he or she may have better pain relievers for you to try. On the other hand, it's conceivable that there's more going on than a regular headache (something like meningitis) and that your doctor will be able to identify the problem and start treating it.

Yes: Would not self-treat headaches with valium. Would be an excellent idea to see your doctor now, get appropriate diagnosis and care. The current regimen, if used more than a few weeks, can lead to other problems you did not anticipate.
