This : This is called dysfunctional uterine bleeding and can be very dangerous if it continues for a long period of time such as your case. The reason being is because it can cause severe anemia, which can be life threatening. The causes of the bleeding can be uterine fibroids(benign tumors of the uterus), endometrial hyperplasia(precancer or cancerous), hormonal changes(new birth control etc.) you will need to see a doctor right away for evaluation and treatment.
