Foot and hand protection in extreme environments such as alaska is not only smart but could be the difference between life and death. Frostbite is disabling and may keep you from walking which means you could be in deep trouble. Do your homework and become educated regarding the proper attire for extreme weather and learn to recognize early signs of hypothermia and frostbite. Always carry some basic survival equipment no matter what. Be prepared 100% of the time. Your life is at stake.

Give it time...: Sounds like a good case of frost bite or Raynauds disease. If it was the latter, it would have gotten better faster. Nerve injury takes a very long time to improve. Give it a few more months. If not, could get a Rx for Metanx to help heal them up.
