Without : Without a blood test, it's impossible to know whether it was an abnormal period or a first trimester miscarriage. Many home pregnancy tests are not 97% accurate until 1-2 weeks after the missed period, so even if you were pregnant, it would have been too early for a positive test. If it is very important for you to know, you could give your doctor a call. Unfortunately, at this point, it may be a little late for even a blood test to show elevated hormone levels from a previous pregnancy. If this happens again, contact your doctor right away.
