You : You may be dealing with an infectious process. There are cases where a skin infection can present behind the folds of the ears often producing a foul odor, which could possibly smell like fish. Try over the counter neosporin twice a day for a week. If the odor does not go away, then ypu may need to see your doctor for an evaluation.
