Feeling : Feeling tired after a meal is common. This occurs because as the body begins to digest the food you ate (especially after a large meal) a lot of your energy is used to aid in digestion, thus making you tired. You may want to consider eating smaller meals more frequently throughout the day. Also note that foods high in tryptophan can make you sleepy. These foods include turkey, shrimp, tuna, brocolli, etc. Take care.
