Can you recommend an over-the-counter topical drug (cream ointment or lotion) for fairly severe eczema on my hands also in om my back calves

I : I would try a moisturizer cream that contains ceramides such as cerave cream. I prefer creams as they are more moisturizing and seem to retain moisture better. Also, when bathing, use a soapless cleanser such as cetaphil or cerave since these don't dry out your skin quite as much. If your eczema doesn't improve, consider a visit to a dermatologist who can possibly prescribe a steroid cream or ointment.

Hydrocortisone: Over the counter hydrocortisone cream can help. Also, diphenhydramine cream can help with itching.
