First : First of all let me say how sorry I am for your loss. As far as your question goes, I am not sure why your vitamins changed colors. Possibly the coating started to wear off and revealed the underlying color of the vitamin. If you want an explanation, i suggest you take the bottle of pills to the pharmacy where they were purchased, and ask the pharmacist to look at the pills and offer any possible explanations.
