Very common: Since there is a 5% survival of gbm at five years, most of the other patients will have had a recurrence in that time.

Unfortunately Very: Gbm is an aggressive tumor. Even after gross total resection, radiation, and chemotherapy 95% of patients succumb to progression of tumor by 5 years.
