Synvastatin : Synvastatin is a statin that has been shown to reduce the inflamation in infklammatory arthropaties , or better known as arthritis. There is no evidence that the statins could contribute or be part of the etiology or the cause of rheumatoid arthritis.

No: Absolutely not! i'm sorry to hear that you've developed ra, but Simvastatin isn't the cause. (nobody knows what causes ra).
