Age at dx & prognosi: JRA is diagnosed under age 16 Both are an inflammatory disorder that cause joint swelling and stiffness. Children may experience symptoms for a short time and recover completely or they may have a lifetime of symptoms. Adults usually don't experience complete absence of symptoms after dx.
