Your : Your description is of a coundition with a herniated disc. Treatment for herniated disc always start with rest. Antiinflamatory medications such as advil or ibuprofen, heating pads to the back. Avoid heay lifting if possible. When pain resolves, streting and core muscle strengtheing are recommended. Need a doc: You need to establish with a primary care doc that can coordinate further referrals as needed for your condition. Or in other words, you did not have a medical emergency or a condition for which you needed inpatient treatment at the time you went to ER and sometimes that message gets misinterpreted.
