Antibiotics : Antibiotics can decrease how effective hormonal birth control (such as the pill) can be. We usually recommend using an additional form of birth control such as a condom while on antibiotics just to be safe. Still being a week away from finishing your pill pack is way too early for a home pregnancy test to be accurate in predicting pregnancy. You should either wait for your period to come and take a pregnancy test again if you are a week or more late or you can call your doctor for a pregnancy test. A urine pregnancy test at a doctor's office can be used around the time you would normally start your period and a blood pregnancy test can be used even earlier!

Unlikely : The pill is still very effective, the only antibiotic with proof of decreasing the pill effectiveness, is rifampin (used for TB). However the only method with 100 % prevention of pregnancy not having any sex. Most couples are willing to accept the small risk 1 - 2 % of pregnancy with the pill, rather than zero sex.
