I don't know how to explain it but my husband has a zit or something like that by his rectum the size of a gum ball. is that normal or what causes those zits to come out? it's like if he had a small size ball under his skin by his rectum . . .

This : This could be a cyst, an abscess, enlarged lymph node or even a tumor. Regardless, he needs to be examined by a doctor right away. Hopefully a diagnosis can be made and treatment initiated if indicated. Best of luck.

Not normal: There are several causes of "bumps" by the rectum. I would suggest a consultation with your family physician to clarify the cause and to treat.
