You : You don't mention whether this started abruptly or slowly. Did anything you recall set it off. Headache similar to what you describe is often related to musculoskeletal problems. Tension in the muscles of the neck and upper back can cause a heavy feeling in the head because they attach along the base of the skull. If you continue the Ibuprofen and perhaps apply heat to the base of the skull it should help. If this problem continues you should see a physician.

Inflammation: This could be sinus or CNS problem. Make sure that this is not an early sign of brain bleedetc. Seek eval.
