Irregular : Irregular periods, discharge, and odor can occur with menopause. However please have a complete gynecologic evaluation to be sure you don't have an infection, and please be sure that your pap smears are up to date. Fibroids and hormonal changes are also causes of irregular bleeding. Please arrange a gynecological evaluation.

Period changes are: common with menopause but flow or spotting for 3 weeks is too long. The brown color is often related to old blood and not worrisome in itself, but the duration and odor needs to be evaluated for infection, possible fibroids or hyperplasia. Please get an urgent evaluation by your gynecologist.
