The : The expectations after facial implant surgery depend a lot on what kind of implants are placed exactly and which type of incisions are made to place them. Certainly you should expect swelling in the area(s) of implant placement. The more areas addressed, the more swelling you should expect. This swelling will make it uncomfortable to do strenuous activities for a few weeks afterward as the resulting increase in blood pressure will lead to more throbbing. Resting with your head elevated at least 30 degrees and icing the surgical area for at least the first few days after surgery can help with the swelling, though.

Facial implants: You will have some mild discomfort. There will be some swelling. You may have some bruising but usually not a lot. It's probably best to avoid strenuous activity for about 10-14 days.
