Numbness : Numbness in your leg (as you describe in your thigh and in your heal) can be attributed to a few things, and all would require you to seek medical attention. 1. Blood clot in the leg can cause pain and ultimately numbness in the lower leg 2. Pressure on a nerve can cause numbess in the leg 3. A bluging vertebral disk can place pressure on a nerve, causing numbness 4. Peripheral vascular disease, diabetes can cause decreased circulation and ultimately numbess. It is crucial you see your doctor to assess the causivie factors. As this ihas been happening for a couple of weeks, it is recommended that you see your doctor asap or go to an urgent care or emergency room. It is possible that a clot can be the cause and should be treated immediately. Also, it would be terrible for you to endure a fall and get injured. Seek medical attention.

Many possibilities: Numbness can occur from various reasons. Some potential causes include vitamin deficiency, nerve damage, nerve compression, alcohol over consumption, side effects of different medications, or as a result of different systemic medical conditions such as diabetes. Get evaluated by a professional to determine the diagnosis. Treatment is based on the diagnosis.
