There : There are studies that show that your friend is right. Charred meat has chemicals that are known to cause cancer. This is usually meat that has been cooked at a high heat over a barbecue. The best things to do are to cook meat over a lower heat if you are grilling, do not put meat right on the flames, and do not eat charred portions of beef.
