There : There are a few different things this could be: - bruising/hematoma from the venipuncture (most common) - blood clot in the vein - phlebitis (inflammation of the vein) - infection (abscess) - scar such as keloid or even sarcoid deposits (usually takes a few weeks to develop) the best thing to do it to call your doctor. They may ask you questions such as what does it look like, is it painful, any fevers, etc. They may also need to see you to determine what it is and whether it is worrisome or not. Good luck!
