I have been taking inderal (propranolol) (beta blocker) for work presentation. is it dangerous to have coffee, while on inderal (propranolol)? i had a medium cup of coffee today and took one inderal (propranolol) before a presentation.

Caffeine : Caffeine interferes with the body's ability to absorb inderal (propranolol). That means that the drug may not work as well if caffeine is in your system. However, i doubt if one cup of coffee will make any serious difference. You may want to conduct your own trial and take Inderal (propranolol) one day without any coffee, and on another occasion have coffee; you can note the differences if any, and decide what works for you. Resubmitted #: inderal (propranolol) is a beta blocker. Are their any advantages of it over any other drug in its class? I doubt it. Speech making, perhaps?
