In : In woman who have had a tubal ligation, the chances of becoming pregnant are slim, about 1 in 1000. Pre-menstral symptoms may also be much like symptoms experienced early in pregancy. It is prudent to take a pregancy test, as the pregnancy hormone can be detected in the urine 14 days after conception. Per statistics, the test will be negative. If it is positive, do see your doctor. Women who have undergone tubal ligation are at higher risk for ectopic pregancy (where the egg implants in the fallopian tubes) which is a dangerous medical condition.

Pregnancy : If you have an actual period than you are not pregnant. If there is any doubt - take a home pregnancy test. Although uncommon, pregnancy may still occur after a tubal ligation.
