Red : Red blood cell counts are measured as million/microliter )m/ul the normal range for a woman is 4.5 to 5.4 m/ul your blood value is on the just below normal range, but would not necessarily require heroic measures to improve (for example a blood transfusion).

Anemia: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, Your blood cell count is lower than normal. You may try taking oral iron and multivitamin supplements and repeat the test in about 6 months.
