A member asked:

I have irregular bleeding twice a month and is never red blood always brown and lumpy, should this be treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Location, location: Bleeding can occur from any part of the body. If asking about menstrual bleeding, many women have occasional variation of their bleeding, some spotting between periods, a heavier or lighter period, or a missed period. Having 1 or 2 of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but since this sounds recurring, a visit to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea.
