Penile injection: Hopefully they can inject a drug to decrease the blood flowing in and stop the erection. Sometimes it requires a surgical procedure.

See below : Priapism is the term used for prolonged and often painful erection in the absence of sexual stimulation. There are several types and diverse etiologies including neurologic conditions, pharmacologic exposures, trauma, and idiopathic. After 6 hrs, irreversible damage begins to occur and by 24 hrs damage is severe. Treatment: aspiration/irrigation, phenylephrine injection, and possible surgery.
