Might be bad idea: Alcohol has been associated in several studies with increasing the risks of various kinds of cancers, including bladder cancer. Whenever people who are undergoing treatment for a serious illness ask me about whether they can drink, i get concerned about 1) how much they are drinking and 2) how important is drinking to them? If it's that important, you may have a problem. Talk with your doctor.
