You : You doctor should have called you with the result in a timely manner. Call your doctor today and ask for the result. Some doctors will educate patients before hand that he/she will only call if the results are abnormal. Either way, it is practical to follow up with your doctor yourself.

Possibly: You should check with the lab. The turn around time may vary for different labs. The sample may have been lost, or your doctor may not have gotten back to you yet with the results. You should not guess that the result is positive or negative from the delay. Ask the doctor who sent the test.
