The : The american academy of neurology has developed guidelines on the management of concussions. The management depends upon the presence or absence of a loss of consciousness, the development of confusion with symptoms that persist beyond 15 minutes, and any prior history of a concussion. In general, the average duration of symptoms was 26 days and 90% of patients had their symptoms resolve within 90 days. I hope this helps.

6-8 weeks: Most of the symptoms of a "simple" concussion are usually self-limited to a 6-12 weeks. You may need further evaluation including cts or mris to check if there are signs of skull base fracture or brain contusion(s) that lead to the persistence of your dizziness and nausea. A neurologist may be very helpful in evaluation and directing the work-up.

Usually 1-6 weeks: Most concussions resolve in 1-6 weeks. You should see a neurologist being your symptoms are lasting longer. If you've have repeated concussions the recovery time is much longer.
