With caution: Several over the counter ear preparations contain oil, usually olive oil. I would encourage you to make sure your ear drum is intact before placing any drops in the ear.

Maybe: As long as there is no hole in your ear drum and or an ongoing infection; patients have found relief with home remedies such as olive oil or "sweet oil" - which help with dryness and mild itching. Another remedy is white vinegar for itching or to prevent swimmers ear.
