Yes : Yes multiple sclerosis does have hereditary compontent to it...Your symptoms though are not completely consitent with ms.

Strictly : Strictly speaking, ms is not hereditary in the same sense as adult diabetes (type ii), where inheritance rate approaches 90%. In contrast, first degree relatives of patients with ms carry 2-5% risk of having ms. Note that your grandmother is your second-degree relative, so your risk is no higher than that of general population - approximately 0.1%. So, while there is an undisputable genetic component to ms, it is not really hereditary. Approaches: You could have anemia, thyroid problems, sleep disorder, depression or other emotional issues, even migraine. MS is NOT a genetic disorder, and doubt Grandma's affliction has been passed onto you.
