I : I don't know of any proven otc meds to relieve rosacea. The mainstays of treatment are topical antibiotics such as Metronidazole lotion or oral antibiotics. Sun exposure seems to make rosacea worse, so wearing sunscreen and a hat do help prevent/minimize rosacea flares. Cetaphil is a good choice for use as a facial soap as it is hypoallergenic, and mild. I don't know that it will make your rosacea better, but it shouldn't make it worse as some perfumed or strong soaps might.

Avoid irritants: There are different stages of rosacea...A dermatologist ... Should be consulted.... Antibiotics and different topical agents can be very effective... Chemical peels and red light led can be used... As well as intense pulsed light ... There currently is no permanent solution so management is critical.
