Many treatments: Hoarseness can be caused by many things. Typically your doctor can initially treat you for this: voice rest and hydration. An ENT (otolaryngologist) can perform a complete head and neck examination and this would include an endoscopy to examine your vocal cords. After this assessment, your ENT can give you a specific treatment recommendation.
