It : It is not really possible to have a regular menstrual cycle when pregnant, unless you are continuing to take birth control pills, which force the body into a monthly cycle. Some women miss some of their pills and get pregnant without knowing it. If they continue to take the pills, they could be pregnant, and continue to have periods until they realize. Otherwise, the hormone changes of pregnancy stop the monthly cycles from happening. However, for a variety of reasons, many women do have bleeding during pregnancy. Some reasons include implantation of the egg/sperm into the wall of the uterus, separation of the placenta, miscarriage, and many others. Taking a home pregnancy test and for confirmation, visiting a doctor is the best way to figure out if one is pregnant.

Technically no.: But realistically yes. A menstrual cycle begins with the shedding of the uterine lining. That would not be compatible with pregnancy. But it is possible to have what you think is a normal menstrual cycle and be pregnant.
