Definitely: Two types of hpv (hpv 16 and 18) cause about 70% of cervical cancers and can also cause cancers of the penis, vulva, and vagina. In addition, hpv 16 is now associated with the majority or oral/throat cancers in this country. A vaccine now exists. Ask your doctor!
