No: Actually just the opposite. There is an inverse association of high blood levels of ige and malignancies. The body seems to benefit from the allergy response antibodies (ige) by having increased surveillance for cancer-promoting cellular behavior. http://www.springer.com/biomed/cancer/book/978-1-60761-450-0.

22 y.o., very worried about high ige of 1909, ESR of 65, CRP 15.6, and LDH of 239. All other blood work normal. US of neck lymph nodes showed likely reactive. Normal ab CT scan. Does this sound more likely of cancer or of inflammation? Rash too.
