Stage-Dependent: Breast cancer survival is more related to the stage rather than the type (ductal, lobular, medullary, etc). Anatomic staging looks@the size of the cancer&the presence of lymph node and/or distant organ involvement. Molecular staging looks at the presence or absence of specific tumor markers(estrogen-, progesterone-, her2/neu receptors). The most difficult cancers to rx are those w/metastases.
