Majority are not: About 85% of breast cancer cases are sporadic and only miority - 10-15% are related to certain hereditary cancer syndrome/genetic mutation. Besides genetic predisposition, other risk factors for breast cancer include lifestyle, dietary - alcohol consumption, smoking, red meat, fat intake, hormonal risk, obesity, exposure to radiation etc.
