If : If it did not bleed, or only oozed a bit, then this should not scar. Wash it well with soap and water to make sure all of the road grit is out and apply Bacitracin ointment (available at the drug store) several times daily. Once it heals, if it was deep enough that it is still quite pink, then you may develop scarring. Make sure to use high-spf sunscreen (30 or greater) for at least 6 months on the area as ultraviolet light from the sun will increase scar visibility. If after 6 months, you are unhappy with how it looks, seek advice from a plastic surgeon.

Yes, cut skin scars.: Every time you cut the skin it leaves a scar. Te sars get less visible with time. Make sure all the dirt and contaminants are cleaned outbid the wound, and this can "tattoo" your skin.
