Possibly: You could have some soreness from coughing, or it could be something else such as gastritis. Some people find that over-the-counter Acetaminophen helps with mild muscle pain. Aspirin or Ibuprofen may upset the stomach so possibly would avoid those until you are sure you know what's going on. Symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider.
